“Let's make honest food we would want to serve our own children and parents.” Hasuo Gomtang started from that one thought — and grew into the Myeongdong Korean Restaurant (明洞レストラン) it is today.

Hasuo Gomtang started from a single thought: “Let's make honest food we would want to serve our own children and parents.” A filling meal for a growing child; a warm, heartfelt one for our elders.

Never rushed — the ingredients speak.

Natural ingredients and precious medicinal herbs are simmered slowly, for hours. Instead of the fast and convenient shortcut, we chose the honest road that takes time and care — inspecting every ingredient as if setting our own family's table, right up to the moment the bowl reaches you.

The heart of Myeongdong, open 24 hours.

About five minutes on foot from Myeongdong Station (Line 4). When a busy day calls for a proper meal, or you simply crave a spoonful of warm broth, we hope Hasuo Gomtang can be a small comfort. Open 24 hours every day (Sundays until 22:00), with menus in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese — a Myeongdong Korean Restaurant (明洞レストラン) that never closes.
